I have been given a Bersa Model 224 (22 cal) a few years back but there is no manual with it. Had to have a gunsmith tak it apart to clean it. Would like to know how to get a manual to take it apart and also a parts list and diagram. Can anyone help me?

I have a model 383 .380 cal acp with a broken hammer, anyone know where i can get a replacement. I ordered one from http://www.bersafirearmsusa.com/ but they sent me one for a newer model .380, probably from a Thunder so it goes in but doesn't fit or work smooth. I did not realize it was the wrong part at first until I took it back out thinking it needed filing or sanding to opperate more smoothly and compaired it to the old...

Grips for a 383-A

I'm a PA State Constable and I carry a 383-A as a backup for my 1911 .45. Does anyone know if the rubber grips off of any other Bersa's will fit? Or does any company make aftermarket grips that will fit the 393-A? Thanks.

I have one of the first production run of Bersa 383DAs that needs the magazine with the round front edge (as found on the earlier bottom release magazines).

I have a number of the common, latter production, 383 magazines with the slightly flattened front edge.
These will not fit into the magazine well of my early Bersa 383.

Can anyone tell me if a 383A slide will work with a plain 383? There's one up for auction and I'd love to be able to fix this gun after owning it for nearly 5 years already.. *crossing fingers* Oh yea, I forgot to note, my 383 has the slide-mounted hammer blocking safety, though the reference on the site does not.

Hello all, I have been a member of bersatalk.com for over a year and just found your link recently. I have just purchased a 644 that is is vg used condition and would like to know of any tips or trick to field stripping or cleaning that might exist. I also need to replace the mag spring, and appreciate any links to reliable sourrces that you more experienced members might have. I have a UC45 and a 380 CC but the 22 seems a bit different.

Earlier today my father picked up a Bersa .380 in a private sale. It's marked "Model 83" on the side, but according to this site (http://bersachapterhouse.50webs.com/family.html) the model 83 is supposed to have an internal slide catch. This gun has an external slide catch, and the frame looks like a 383-DA. The slide looks like a model 83 slide except for the slide catch notch.

So what exactly is this gun?
