Grips for a 383-A

I'm a PA State Constable and I carry a 383-A as a backup for my 1911 .45. Does anyone know if the rubber grips off of any other Bersa's will fit? Or does any company make aftermarket grips that will fit the 393-A? Thanks.

I bought a used Bersa Thunder .380. I love it. The only thing is, I compromised on the finish because it was such a good deal. It's the Duotone, I really want the all Satin Nickel version. I went to Bersa's website and saw that you can order the satin nickel slide. The customer service person can't answer the simple question I have. Hi everyone, I'm new here. I'm looking for advise. Some time ago I bought new Thunder .22LR cal. I didn't shoot a lot but I noticed many jams on Remington Thunderbolt ammo. I took a look on this bullets later. Looks like lead bullets makes a jam on lower chamber lips (not sure if it's proper name for this). I have one of the first production run of Bersa 383DAs that needs the magazine with the round front edge (as found on the earlier bottom release magazines).

I have a number of the common, latter production, 383 magazines with the slightly flattened front edge.
These will not fit into the magazine well of my early Bersa 383.

Bersa 383 Slide question

Can anyone tell me if a 383A slide will work with a plain 383? There's one up for auction and I'd love to be able to fix this gun after owning it for nearly 5 years already.. *crossing fingers* Oh yea, I forgot to note, my 383 has the slide-mounted hammer blocking safety, though the reference on the site does not.

Hello all, I have been a member of bersatalk.com for over a year and just found your link recently. I have just purchased a 644 that is is vg used condition and would like to know of any tips or trick to field stripping or cleaning that might exist. I also need to replace the mag spring, and appreciate any links to reliable sourrces that you more experienced members might have. I have a UC45 and a 380 CC but the 22 seems a bit different.

Gun just took a major crap

Last week, after cleaning the gun (.380 Thunder), I loaded it up for my wife to carry.

I noticed that it wouldn't work in the DA mode at all?

Dropped the mag back out, ejected the round in the chamber. Tried everything again, took 2 or 3 times before she was ready to go.

Took it to the range yesterday. My wife put 50 rounds through it (all SA), and it worked fine.

Loaded up a mag with "carry" ammo, and once again, couldn't get the DA...
